Turbochrome has been a strategic partner to the Israeli Airforce for decades. As one of the world’s leading air forces, the IAF’s maintenance requirements are accordingly demanding. Israel’s small size, three different climatic zones and busy program place a high level of stress on aircraft engines.
The demand for the order of battle’s full-time functionality places a heavy responsibility upon us, and we bear it well and proudly. In 2016, we were officially certified by Pratt & Whitney to carry out repair operations on the IAF’s newer fleet of F100-PW-229 engines.
CERTIFICATION
TAT Turbochrome was awarded the AS9100 Rev. D ISO 9001:2008 Certifications as well as Self-Release Supplier Status by the Israeli Air Force.
At the start of 2018 TAT Turbochrome successfully passed the NADCAP audits and at present holds NADCAP accreditiaon for:
- NDA
- Welding
- Coating
- Heat Treatments
